In Potionstack, you have to complete 8 puzzles by reaching the stairs.

For this, you have to use the potions found in each level to interact with the scenario, with each potion having a different effect.

But be aware! When you collect a potion, it goes to the last slot of your inventory and you can only use one at a time, and only the last one in the list. This means that you have to carefully think the order that you pick them up to complete the puzzle!

Made for the July 2024 Pirate Software Jam following the thems "Shadows" and "Alchemy".

The graphic assets are from Kenney 1-bit ack with small adjustments for some of the art.

The sound effects are from Kenney - Sci-fi Sounds pack.

The gameplay is very simple, straight-forward, and fun. There’s a large number of puzzle combinations you could do here, so the chance to expand this further is definitely available. Good job on building such a solid foundation for a game.

You’ve also done a good job of introducing new elements gradually, so as not to overwhelm the player but teach them how the game works in a natural way. I liked seeing the locked door and pressure plate get introduced.
